Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in Bellevue Ski School.

We are a non-profit organization fully staffed by volunteers. We have several areas where we need help. Some are pre-season; some are during the season. Please look through the options and contact us at

As required by the Bellevue School District, all volunteers who will come in contact with students must be cleared through the VIBES (Volunteers in Bellevue's Education System) program prior to beginning volunteer service. VIBES application forms and instructions may be found below:

Chaperoning Duties:

  • Chaperones are responsible for the safety and supervision of students on the bus ride to and from the mountain.
  • Each chaperone helps to load students, skis, and boards onto the bus. All chaperones are responsible for making sure they know how many students are on their bus and ensuring they have the correct number of students for the trip home.
  • On the mountain we have a “desk” that needs to be staffed during the time we are there. The "desk" is in the chaperone hut. We answer questions from parents and students, and sign out students who go home early with a parent. The shift is one hour; we ask that you sign up, on average, every other week.
